How To Detox Your Pineal Gland and Why

Travel within and you’ll find at the center of your brain is a pinecone-shaped gland. The pineal gland is a small part of the brain that is crucial to our sleeping patterns, how we are able to react to stimuli, and provide us with our reality. A healthy-functioning pineal gland allows you to achieve your best

What Does the Pineal Gland Do?

The pineal gland acts as the body’s light meter. It reacts to light information and sends out hormonal messages. Circadian rhythm is a process that sends signals about the length of daylight to the body. The pineal gland tells the body whether it’s light or dark out, what season you’re in, and whether days are getting longer or shorter. To get back to nature, the most important gland in human beings’ lives is our sense of time. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to connect with the outside world.

Light: Medicine of the Future

The size of the pineal gland varies in animals depending on their location. This is discussed in "Light: Medicine of the Future” by Jacob Liberman.

From Liberman:

“Today, the pineal is recognized as playing a major role in every aspect of human function. It acts as the “regulator of regulators.” Aside from its documented effects on reproductive function, growth, body temperature, blood pressure, motor activity, sleep, tumor growth, mood, and the immune system, it also seems to be a factor in longevity.”

Interestingly, animals living closer to the equator than those who live further North or South will have a smaller pineal gland size. The pineal gland will enlarge in species with a lot of challenges with the environment, like animals that need to ingest large amounts of food.

Melatonin and the Pineal Gland

The pineal gland secretes melatonin, a hormone which regulates sleep patterns. Melatonin is thought to control our reproductive hormones by the release of certain hormones from the pituitary gland. It affects both males and females. Children produce more melatonin than adults, which is believed to inhibit sexual development. After puberty, the size of the pineal gland decreases and the production of serotonin increases. Light exposure stimulates the pineal gland to produce melatonin.

The Effects of Calcification on the Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is the only organ that isn’t separated by the blood-brain barrier. The pineal gland is second to only kidneys in regards to the amount of blood flow. The pineal gland is found inside the brain cavity, next to the pituitary gland. The pineal gland was found to have high concentrations of fluoride in the 1990s. At least one researcher, Jennifer Luke, discovered this.

You can find Fluoride in most municipal water as well as pesticides. It accumulates in the pineal gland more than any other part of the body.

In the process of fluoride accumulation, it forms hard shells around the pineal called calcification. This can lead to decreased function and lessened intelligence as calcification progresses.

Pineal gland calcification: Why does it happen and what are the risks?

Lack of melatonin leads to restless sleep patterns

Messes with our reproductive function

Disrupts the regulation of the circadian rhythm

Scientists believe that children reach puberty earlier now because of fluoridated water. Fluoride consumption is the main cause of calcification in the pineal gland and there's been evidence to back up this claim. Exposure to fluoride has been found to reduce melatonin and lead to faster sexual development in females. In November 2019, a study in Biological Trace Element Research found that when male rats ate a diet without fluoride, it stimulated pineal growth.

If you have a calcified pineal gland, then you are out of balance with nature and it affects your bioprocesses and brain functioning.

The pineal gland is a fascinating, yet often overlooked feature of the human body. It is our connection to the natural world that passes messages between the mind and body.

Without a fully functioning pineal gland, our ability to process information slows down and the messages we are exposed to from media or society are more easily able to program us with false beliefs or shapes our behaviors.

3 Key Steps to Decalcify the Pineal Gland

  • Eliminate Foods and Environmental Factors that Cause Calcification

  • Remove Existing Calcification

  • Support Your Healthy Pineal Gland Functioning

Start with Understanding The Problem

Fluoride and synthetic forms of calcium are two major causes of calcification in the human body. If you stop consuming and being exposed to fluoride and synthetic calcium, then calcification in your body and brain can be stopped. I understand that a controversial topic such as fluoride has its supporters and opponents. Therefore, I am not claiming to be an expert on the issue. All I can do is quote my research, some of which is displayed in this blog post. Consequently, I have come to a conclusion. You may also have reached a conclusion from your research and analysis.

Is Fluoride Safe to Drink?

50% of the world’s municipal drinking water is fluoridated. The majority of developed nations do not fluoridate their water, however. If you’re in the United States and get your water from a public supply, there's a 74% chance that it's fluoridated.

More people in the U.S. drink and shower in fluoridated water than the rest of the world combined.

Studies prove that fluoride is dangerous to human health

What are the solutions?
